17th June 2015

Alva Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Andre Klotz as a Partner and Head of Research. Andre will primarily be responsible for the firm’s investment research activities and brings 10 years of experience in credit investing and corporate finance. Andre’s experience will enhance the firm’s ability to generate value for our investors, both in credit and equity opportunities.

Andre was most recently responsible for high yield investing at Partners Group, a Swiss based asset manager with over USD 40 billion under management, where he was a member of the listed investment committee. Before that, Andre was responsible for managing the liquid credit investments for CLS Holdings. Andre started his career working for five years in the M&A teams both at UBS and Dresdner Kleinwort.

Andre will be working directly with Alex Vaskevitch who has managed credit portfolios for the past six years while outperforming peers. Alex has been deeply involved in the leveraged credit markets during the past decade, on the sell side at BNP Paribas and ABN AMRO, and on the buy side at LNG Capital, BCM & Partners and Serone Capital Management.

Alva Capital is an investment firm with a fundamental approach towards disruptive credit opportunities. The firm’s aim is to deliver equity like returns while taking credit like risk. The fund targets dislocated credit opportunities where market prices are above or below intrinsic value. Alva Capital LLP is authorised and regulated by the FCA since 2015.
